If we keep giving all the freedom they want, big companies will end up monitoring our pis and poo to adapt the food market. Ignoring something doesn't make it less dangerous. You have a little piece of software that analyzes all your computer programs and hardware ID's and store them into a private corporative server to authorize your game, all of that without you knowing $hit about it. Originally posted by JAD:That's exactly what makes DRM dangerous. it does not constatly analize your systems readings only those associated with its program initially when changes are made to the initial readings its needs to be confirmed the product is still part of the original buyer hense the reconfirmation.as far as i understand it anyway Go ask CD Projekt why they don't use it in their games, yet they made millions with The Witcher 3. DRM is bad, really bad and Denuvo is even worse. I'm amazed that someone that plays espionage cyberpunk finction videogames is so clueless about something so real. I didn't even know what Denuvo did or what it was, let alone see a warning until people started complaining in the forums. Now that sounds like thats what it's made for.
